Assess your personal and organisational readiness to lead in an AI-enabled environment. Built on the REACH™ framework, the scorecard measures where you stand across five stages – and names the single constraint holding your leadership back.
Your REACH stage scores across all five dimensions – a structured view of where your leadership practice is today, not where you assume it is. Retake the assessment over time and track how your readiness evolves.
Where your view and your organisation's diverge. The gap between how ready you feel and how ready your organisation actually is tells you more than either score alone.
The single REACH stage where focused effort will compound fastest. Not a list of everything you could improve – the one thing that unlocks the rest.
REACH™ maps the five progressive stages an individual moves through to build meaningful, sustained AI leadership – from initial awareness to embedded, habitual practice. Each of the scorecard’s 40 questions maps to one stage, and your results are reported stage by stage.
Understanding why AI leadership matters and what it demands of you.
Personal motivation and will to participate in and champion AI leadership.
The knowledge and informed judgement to lead with AI effectively.
Demonstrated ability to implement AI leadership in practice – developed and evaluated through coaching, not self-report.
AI leadership practices sustained and embedded over time through reinforcement.

Forty questions mapped to the REACH™ stages you can self-assess – Recognition, Engagement, Acumen, and Habit. The fifth stage, Competency, is demonstrated ability in practice, so it’s developed through coaching rather than self-report and isn’t scored here. Every question is answered twice – once for you (Me) and once for your organisation (Us) – on a 1–5 scale from Never to Always.
Three reasons. Your progress saves automatically, so you can pause a 40-question assessment and come back to it. Your results stay attached to you, so a retake shows how your readiness has moved rather than starting from nothing. And signing up with your work email groups you with colleagues, which is what makes the team benchmarking work. Passwords are stored hashed – we never see them.
Every question is answered from two angles: your own capability, and your organisation’s. The gap between those two scores often says more than either alone – a leader far ahead of their organisation faces a different problem from one being outpaced by it. Your results include a reflection on which way your gap runs and what to do about it.
Grouping is keyed on your work email domain – personal addresses are never grouped. Once at least three people from the same organisation have completed the scorecard, everyone can compare their stage scores against the group average, and you can invite up to ten colleagues at a time from your results page. Colleagues only ever see group averages, never your individual answers.
Your responses are stored securely on our own infrastructure – no third-party assessment platform sits in the middle – and passwords are hashed. Your answers are used only to build your results and, in aggregate, your organisation’s benchmark; the three-person minimum exists so no individual’s scores can be inferred. We never share your data, and you can email hello@vertexagility.com at any time to have your account and results deleted.
About 15 minutes for the 40 questions. Progress saves automatically as you answer, so you can stop part-way and pick it up later – sign back in and it resumes where you left off.
Your results appear immediately: your REACH™ profile across the self-assessed stages, your primary constraint – the single stage where focused effort compounds fastest – your strengths and focus areas, and the Me–Us reflection. You can email yourself the results, download the branded PDF, and retake the scorecard whenever you like; previous results stay saved to your account. If you want to talk it through, a senior practitioner will walk you through your profile – no pitch, no obligation.
Our senior practitioners are happy to walk through your REACH profile and give you a direct view on priorities – no pitch, no obligation. One conversation.
